What Happened? Amazon and Walmart Have Bad News For Hillary’s New Book

It’s almost been a year since Hillary Clinton got humiliated of losing the presidency to Donald Trump, and almost a year filled with blame-dodging followed with accusations of many people about her loss.

Sadly, she is still searching someone to blame on, and fail to realize that she needs to look in the mirror in order to find the person responsible for her loss. There she can surely find the right person to blame.

Via The Federalist Papers:

Clinton has a new book coming out about her failed campaign. But instead of her revisionist memoir being a springboard to regain a sliver of her lost mojo, it appears poised to be yet another thing she will fail at. The Washington Examiner reports:

Two huge booksellers, Amazon and Walmart, have already cut the price of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2016 tell-all by 40 percent — and it isn’t even available yet.

Set to be released Tuesday, both have priced “What Happened?” at $17.99.

Publisher Simon and Schuster set a price of $30.

Well, that’s not what an author wants to see. If sellers knock off almost half of a book’s price before even giving it a chance to sell for MSRP on the store shelves, that’s not exactly a statement of confidence that your customers will flock to the product.

And why would they? Sure, die-hard liberals will eat it up, and we can count on various Democrat Party chapters or left-wing organizations to order copies in bulk. But for anyone else, where’s the appeal? What reason is there to throw a copy in your shopping cart and give up cold, hard cash for it?

It’s abundantly clear now that the author will never be the President of the United States, and anybody interested in reading an entire book of Hillary Clinton’s thoughts already have “It Takes a Village,” “Hard Choices,” “Living History,” and “Stronger Together.”

And, in what is most likely the biggest contributing factor, Clinton has spent the past year getting in front of cameras and doing interviews that make it abundantly clear what the book would consist of: lots of whining, lots of making excuses, lots of scapegoating.

“I was on the way to winning until the combination of Jim Comey’s letter on October 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me, but got scared off,” Clinton said at a Women for Women International event on May 2.

The Clinton campaign previously blamed former president Obama for her loss, arguing that he should have come out sooner with evidence of Russian meddling in the election and slapped sanctions on Russia sooner.

Clinton threw Facebook and other social media under the bus, and managed to tie Russia in as well on Wednesday.

“If you look at Facebook, the vast majority of the news items posted were fake,” she asserted. “They were connected to, as we now know, the 1,000 Russian agents who were involved in delivering those messages … Some people were sucked in” […]

The former secretary of state did not spare the Democratic National Committee during her explanation for her loss Wednesday night.

“I inherit nothing from the Democratic Party,” Clinton said, describing the days immediately after she won her party’s nomination. “Its data was mediocre to poor, non-existent, wrong. I had to inject money into it.”
