Liberal Eagles Players Boycott White House Trip, Trump Has Last Laugh With Special ‘Offer’

A few players of this Super Bowl’s champion team, the Philadelphia Eagles have made a vow to refuse the invitation to the White House, as a way to protest against President Donald Trump.

The President however, didn’t leave this disgraceful act unanswered when he  made a special announcement about their absence.

Lately, the left has made a number of completely unpolitical programs and events tainted with social justice politics. They are continuously planting  the idea of intrusive protests and boycotts which have led to the ruin of one of the most favored sports in America.

Unlike the last NFL stunt when many players refused to stand for our National Anthem, during this Super Bowl 52, the viewers were pleased to see that willingly or not, all players from both teams were up on their feet for the U.S. National Anthem.

However, this state didn’t last very long. As soon as the anthem was over, a few players went back to their disrespectful ways. Until yesterday, 3 Eagles players declared that they would boycott the presidential invitations given to the Super Bowl’s winning team.

According to  after their great victory last Sunday, Torrey Smit, Chris Long, Malcolm Jenkins confirmed that they have refused Trump’s kind invitation to the White House. All three of them were very open about their hostility towards the President, letting everyone know that they denied his invite.

Nevertheless, they were quickly overshadowed by President Donald Trump when he gave his announcement.

Another report from The Blaze, commented this patriotic display saying that “President Donald Trump showcased no animosity toward the perturbed boycotting Eagles players, instead offering their vacant seats to the U.S. Military veterans the liberal athletes have repeatedly dishonored with their political stunts”

Kellyanne Conway, the President’s counselor revealed that Trump will give the spoiled millionaire players’ seats at the White House to Military veterans who’s service has brought so much to this country.

In an interview on the “Chris Stigall Show”, she reconfirmed she will send out the invitations of those players who wish to boycott the President, to Americans who deserve them. She also said that the Eagles were her favorite team and she was eager to meet with all the teammates “when we welcome the new Super Bowl world champions Philadelphia Eagles to the White House for them to receive their trophies.”

As stated in the report, And even after hearing some “smack talk from some [saying] they’re not coming,” Conway resolutely stated that such scenarios were fine and that she’d just “invite a couple more veterans who are Eagles fans. No problem.”

Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins who was also one of the leading figures in the NFL anthem protests, probably thought that his refusal of the President invitation would attract more attention. But unfortunately for him, he neither the President, nor his team gave any acknowledgement to it. Instead, they found him a much more suitable replacement.

Ever since the NFL’s kneeling stunt, President Trump has scorned the actions of many NFL’s employee as disrespectful to people who go an excellent service for the U.S. Back in the time during the 2017 anthem protests, he issued a statement supporting players to show solidarity to the U.S. Military and stand up.

According to The Daily Caller, his statement read:

“Though many of our nation’s service members are unable to be home with family and friends to enjoy this evening’s American tradition, they are always in our thoughts and prayers.”

“We owe these heroes the greatest respect for defending our liberty and our American way of life. Their sacrifice is stitched into each star and every stripe of our Star-Spangled Banner. We hold them in our hearts and thank them for our freedom as we proudly stand for the national anthem.”

Many of the NFL protester tried to excuse their behavior by saying that despite the fact that they were kneeling or sitting, their intention was not to protest the anthem. One of the players who has now rejected the President’s invite, admitted than that his own father is a military veteran, saying :

“People call it an anthem protest; it’s not an anthem protest. It’s a protest during the anthem. When my father dies, he’ll be buried with a flag draped over his casket after serving in the military.”

The NFL is being used only as a platform for pushing a political agenda and disrespecting our nation’s heroes, therefore it’s not surprising that more and more viewers are turning their TVs off.

Ironically, as these immature athletes are boycotting President Donald Trump, the viewers are boycotting them. It looks like their own stunts are hurting no one else, but themselves.
