This years winter games seem to have changed into an embarrassing spectacle with the athletes humiliating behavior which is nothing like the games used to look throughout history.
In the past, the Olympics was a festival which gathered whole families around the small screens to celebrate the accomplishments of dedicated and talented athletes who were representing the American nation.
However, instead of a competition between world-class athletes The 2018 Winter Games is being used as a stage for promoting the anti-Trump liberal agenda.
Just recently, one of these anti-Trump Olympians appeared on television admitting that he is “as sick as it gets”. After something like this, if he doesn’t get disqualified, the future of the games can really be brought to question.
So far the games have been just a public display of hatred towards our administration, spreading lies about the Vice President’s beliefs, stating that athletes will refuse White House invitations if they bring back home medals, and saying that flag-carrying decision was racist. But as it appears, this US athlete managed to top all of that.
Namely, Adam Rippon besides being a figure skating medalist, is also a role model to young impressionable children who encourages them to engage in a dangerous illegal activity. And the worst part is that he and the liberal media find that amusing.
Despite the Huffington Post’s obvious favoritism towards the openly gay figure skater, what this athlete did was inexcusable and wrong. After he bashed the Vice President Pence for his different beliefs, Rippon casually passed of a promotion of occasional drug use as a “joke,” but it was more than clear that he indeed meant what he said.
The report from the Huffington Post has stated : This probably isn’t in the Olympics handbook on how to deal with pre-competition jitters.
After Adam Rippon of the United States excelled during his Winter Olympics debut in the men’s free skate for the team event Monday, he and NBC Sports’ Mike Tirico talked about overcoming butterflies.
Tirico asked the 28-year-old Rippon what was going through his mind when he took the ice.
“I want to throw up,” the athlete said. “I want to go over to the judges and say, ‘Can I just have a Xanax and a quick drink. I’ll be fine.’ But I kept it together. I just took it one element at a time.”
Adam Rippon why would you say this to everyone watching around the world? Give me a Xanax and a drink 😮 What does everyone think about this rant? Rt answers if its ok or not ok. Thank you all for your honesty my peeps. Lil boys & girls looking up to you #representUSA #BeALeader pic.twitter.com/Z2O9YyBpLq

But that is not all that Rippon promoted during the games. In spite the fact that we don’t condemn anyone’s sexual orientation, and applaud people who are open and honest about being who they really are, most of the people are not very eager to listen to details about their sex life. Reportedly, Rippon also made a complaint about the condoms that the Olympics provided.
According to Huffington Post, “On Saturday, Rippon took to Instagram to say he was ‘disappointed’ that the condoms being distributed at the games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, were so bland. He griped that they could have been available in different colors or bear the Olympics logo.”
He also said “Life isn’t always what it seems and sometimes the condoms are just generic.”
It looks like Rippon has a different view of what the Olympics really are. While in the past, the games were a filled with competitors sharing stories about the emotional and overwhelming journey and all the odds they had to overcome, to reach their goals, now we hear complaints about condoms not being colorful enough and promotions of drug and alcohol use as a way to cope with stress.
